Pyrenees Cycling Tour

The Incomparable Pyrenees

After some rave reviews for our first ever Pyrenees Tour in 2018, Icon Bike Tours are heading back for more in 2019, only this time we will stay for two cracking weeks. The Pyreness are hard to describe accurately, beautiful, certainly, but it is much more than that. The region is just so full of charm, perhaps it is the proximity to the Spanish border, or the small roads, vibrant green mountain ranges? I guess the French would call it a little bit of "Je'ne cest quoi". Whatever it is, any cyclist that has ridden here will proclaim it as an absolute must.

In 2019, we will explore the mountains from two bases, Meeting you at Toulouse airport, we will be based in beautiful Argeles Gazost and St Lary Soulon, staying 12 nights in these beautiful villages and scaling a few of the iconic Tour de France passes and many of the climbs that make this place so loved.

Think Tourmalet, but then dream of the beauty of Col de Troumouse, Spandelles, Cambasque and Horquette d'Ancizan, for these are the roads that will live in your cycling memory forever.

STRICTLY Limited to 10 Places

Dates for 2019: June 11 - 23
Cost: $6,295pp*
* subject to variation depending on exchange rate at the time of final payment. Single supplement available, extra charges apply
The Pyrenees are the "original" mountains of the Tour de France and a region filled with charm and hospitality that belies the international reputation of France. It is also home to some of the most famous mountain passes on planet earth, the col du Tourmalet, col d'Aubisque etc. But the very best of this magical place is "hidden" in it's vast array of World Heritage listed parks, small quiet roads, sleepy villages and the sheer raw beauty of this ancient mountain range. It really must be experienced to be believed.
