Training with Power
Like the industry in general and the pro riders, most cyclists have embraced the use of power data and appreciate that is is important for getting results. Many riders however are a little lost in the jargon and the valuable information in the power numbers goes to waste. In this seminar, you will learn what it all means and how to incorporate power into your daily training. The "takeaway" will be a whole new set of tools and training sessions that will have you motivated and performing at your very best.
Climbing & Descending
The Bikelab Training Camp is essentially about climbing because it is one of the most effective ways for cyclists to build strength and endurance, the basis of good form. In four days we will tackle the best climbs that the GC hinterland has to offer and most will be surprised at the beauty and challenge of the terrain. Each day will see riders climb with specific techniques and intensities and once we are ready to go down, the Bikelab coaches will have you descending with speed and confidence.
Strength & Conditioning for Cyclists
Strength and conditioning for cycling is a very specific skill set that can have a huge effect on improving your cycling performance. This practical session takes place in a gym specifically built for strength and conditioning, and you will leave with the knowledge and confidence to add this vital ingredient to your weekly training.
Brian Cooke has many years experience teaching strength and conditioning specific to cyclists and will guide you through the technique and type of essential exercises to improve your cycling.
Cycling Nutrition Presentation

Most people (and cyclists) appreciate that eating well can have an influence on body weight, body composition, recovery and performance. Getting the balance right is a little trickier, especially in a climate where confusing, and sometimes downright misleading, information is everywhere. Delina will guide you through the essential nutrition guidelines specific to athletes needs. From daily training requirements to tapering and timing of meals you will learn how to fuel your body for the best possible outcome for performance and recovery.
